Jenny has an extensive background in both yoga and massage. She has been a licensed massage therapist since 1999 and a yoga practitioner for nearly 20 years. She is a 200 hour Yoga Alliance teacher. She is also a certified Cupping Therapist and a member of the ICTA.
Being both witness and participant in the amazing healing ability of bodywork, Jenny has seen the capacity of the human body and therapeutic touch. Her style of therapy is to get the body back on track, easing pain and improving overall wellness. She works with her clients achieving change in habitual patterns caused by trauma and everyday life. She uses a whole body integrative approach to treat and balance the physical and energetic systems within the body.
Specializing in therapeutic massage, myofascial release, Thai yoga massage and cupping, Jenny has created a fusion of the modalities bringing a wealth of benefits to the body. Releasing tension, opening of the joints and lessening the pain due to over use and injury are just a few benefits of these advanced techniques.
Jennys clientele range from athletes, runners, cyclists to those of us sitting at the desk 8 hours a day. Clients with past injuries and trauma to those facing orthopedic treatment are amongst the ones seeking bodywork relief. Some common conditions treated include sciatica, plantar fasciitis, frozen shoulder, tendinitis, bursitis, chronic pain, headaches, stress, anxiety, poor flexibility and range of motion.
